I am a father
Like any other father

I am the mother
I seek justice for every one of my children

I am the refugee
I fight to return home

I am the hostage
I fight to be free

I am palestinian

I will not be the helpless victim

I will do whatever it takes for my right to live and dream

And just like me

You would fight for your country

You would die for your freedom
and honor your heroes

You can call me names

But history knows

I am a hero

I am the resistance

I am Palestine
