Ibn Taymiyyah has said when interpreting the word of Allah: "Verily in Allah's repentance is repentance of people who do bad things because of ignorance, then they immediately repent. They are the people who will get forgiveness from God. Allah is Knower, Wise. " (Surah 4: 17)

The ugliness of it all caused by ignorance. If he is a person who has knowledge that can be used to determine that the action it will take a very large madharat for himself so he would not do such deeds. That's the advantage of people who have sense.

Then Ibn Taymiyyah quotes from Abu Aliyah. Abu Aliyah has been said, I have asked the companions of the Prophet about this verse "Verily in Allah's repentance is repentance of people who do bad things because of ignorance, then they immediately repent."

They replied, "Everyone who engage in immoral to Allah SWT means he is a fool. Anyone who repent before you die means that he has repented immediately."

Al Imam Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said when interpreting the word of Allah "Verily those who fear Allah from among His servants are servants of the scholars." (Sura 35: 28)

Any person who feels fear God, obey him and leave the sinners are the deeds he is the knowledgeable. As word of Allah Almighty: "Do those who worship at night with prostrate and standing, and he felt afraid of the hereafter and expect his Lord's grace? Say, What same group should rank the people who know people who do not know?" (Qur'an 39: 9)

Thus, the knowledgeable person is one who feels fear Allah, glorify Him, follow His commandments, away from its ban, did not exceed the limits set by Him. While fools are those who do evil, great sin, and was reluctant to fulfill the obligation. May we include people who truly fear Allah, blessed with useful knowledge, and able to apply them in our lives.

Yaa Aamiin Rabbal'alamiin

"Science (Ilm') is given, treatise, trustworthy, and fear of Allah Almighty."
