letter of a maldive mujahid to his mother

by Yamin Ibn Verdad on Monday, 20 December 2010 at 18:22

I write this to you with love and compassion deep within my heart. Oh, mother, is seeing me well dressed with decency and a high status job, running after this worldly riches what you want? And spending my entire life serving this taghut government who treats Allah’s law as child’s play? But my loving mother, let me tell you, I want to tell as the brother from Egypt told his wife, “ I want to serve the lord of the worlds. So that he would grant me something he didn’t grant the taghut and its allies. And that’s Allah’s pleasure. The sakeena(tranquility) which comes with it. The karaamaath which comes with it, which is so expensive it cannot be bought with money.  If it can, the pharaoh of this era, America would’ve bought it.
Can the work of these governments grant the gardens Allah has promised for his martyrs?  They cant even build a house in a small land let alone gardens. Oh mother, do you want to get me this worldly life and sell my hereafter? As the hadith of rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam says, “if the world has the price of a wing of a mosquito, Allah would not have given even  a small amount of water to a kaafir” so I want for you, my kids and my family a paradise which is as wide as the heavens and the earth ,Allah willing.

Allah grants the right to intercede on behalf of 70 members of the family to the martyr. However, those 70 should be people free of shirk. Oh my loving mother, I beg you, make dua for me  that I become a martyr, my intention ikhlaas(pure) and my heart and feet firm on the path of Allah.

Oh my loving mother, you thought you were on the haqq. But mother, I request you sincerely, look at the status of the ummah. If many were on the haqq, will the ummah be like this? When we Muslims were on the haqq, Allah gave us the kingdom of this earth.  Oh mother, our blood should not be Maldive. (it should be) the blood of islam. There is no nationality in Islam. When a Maldive kaafir battles a Muslim American, and if you side with the Maldivian because he is a Maldivian, then what rasulullah sallallahu alayahi wasallam feared most about this ummah has come.  That’s nationality. Selling religion for nationality. Because he who aids a Kaafir against a muslim becomes Kaafir as the whole ummah agrees.

Oh my loving mother,  make my father understand this as well. The rulers upon us are not Islamic rulers.  Obedience to Islamic rulers is a must. The rulers upon us as long as they replace the law sent down to rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam with man made law made through parliaments commenting(negatively) on Allah’s law, is not our Islamic rulers. That’s taghut. And Allah informs  that unless you refrain from taghut and disbelieve in them, the kalima of “laa ilaaha illallahu”  cannot be acted upon. Such a person would be a polytheist. Allah says
“whoever dsbelieves taghut and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks” surah Baqaraa 256. The tafseer ulema says the handhold here means “laa ilaaha illallahu”

Refrain from taghut. Don’t go to them to seek judgment.Allah says that their claim to believe in what was revealed to rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam and what was revealed before that is just a (false) claim. They were ordered to reject taghut. Look at the ayah 60 of surah Nisaa.

Oh my loving mother,  do you wish that I would join the soldiers who fight in the path of taghut? Oh mother,  it was revealed
“Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who reject Faith Fight in the cause of taghut..”surah Nisaa 76

Oh my loving mother, the dear respected flag of this ummah has fallen. Musab ibn umayr, on the day of Uhud, was raising the flag, when his right hand was torn off, he changed the flag to his left hand and when his left hand was torn off, he held it in his shoulder. Till he was martyred, he didn’t let the flag touch the ground. To the sahaba, the flag was worth sacrificing their families and their selves. But here we are, not having the slightest concern towards this flag. We are concerned with flags of taghut. Oh mother, make dua to Allah that my children, your grandchildren, are like musab ibn umayr, sacrificing their selves to raise this muslim’s flag.

Oh my loving mother, the women of this ummah whom we claim to be our sisters have become the prey of the kuffar.  Those najis(impure/dirty) kuffar dishonor our sisters 9-10 times a day. Those sisters guarded their chastity due to the fear of Allah. Subhaanallah. Can we comprehend their agony? If we give a deaf ear to their agonizing cries, we are giving a deaf ear to the ayah of Allah as well. As Allah says ;

And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)?- Men, women, and children, whose cry is: "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from thee one who will protect; and raise for us from thee one who will help!"
 Surah Nisa 75

Oh my loving mother, tell me, why are we here clinging on to the dunya? Everyone is fine as long as their lives are fine. Do we think the kalima of “laa ilaaha illallahu” can be uplifted without the sword? That’s a wrong belief. If it could, rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam would not have to spent his life in war. If life could be given to this religion in another way(without sword), would the saahib who had the most compassion and love towards this ummah, taken up the sword? Even his income was in jihad. That’s known when he said “ my rizq is under the shade of my spear.”

Oh my loving mother, for what reason should I wait? Is there any women and palaces better than the palaces and hoor Allah has promised? Surely you hope the best for me, don’t you? Is the deceptive life of this dunya what is best for me? Or the eternal abode of goodliness? Allah says

Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur'an: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme.
Surah Tawbaah 111

The lord of the worlds is saying that the supreme success is in that. And that whoever sacrifices his self and wealth in Allah’s cause is promised paradise. If prayer itself is enough, would Allah order from every 1000 people 999 to go to hell fire? Achieving paradise is the hardest of all. The easiest way for paradise is through jihad. But why are we refraining from walking on this path? Is it due to the wives, offsprings, families and goods we love? Allah says

Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline: or the dwellings in which ye delight - are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious.
Surah Tawbaa 24

Oh my loving mother, ponder. Can we have anything of more priority than Allah, his messenger and jihad in his cause?   Has Allah excused us? Oh mother, while we sit like this, Allah may take our iman and give it to some others. Allah says;

Unless ye go forth, He will punish you with a grievous penalty, and put others in your place; but Him ye would not harm in the least. For Allah hath power over all things.
Surah Tawbaah 39

Oh my loving mother, I hope you would be happy with my decision. Surely this is the decision the lord of the worlds would want. Oh my loving mother, make dua for me, that we abide in jannatul firdaws with the messengers the truthful and the martyrs. I always make dua that you are guided to the path of truth. Oh mother, don’t blind follow anyone’s words. After hearing anyone, refer to the quran, sunnah and the ulema who follow the path of haqq with actions and then decide. Treating kindly to those who treat you kindly and treating bad to those who treat you bad, is not the islamic way. The islamic way is to love for Allah and hate for Allah. In that way, the best love should be to Allah, then his messenger sallallahu alayhi wasallam. Loving him means, following all that he has commanded and refraining from all that he has forbid. Allah says;

“….So take what the Messenger assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you…” surah Hashr 7

Oh my loving mother, be happy! What is to come is the shariah of Allah. The religion of Islam. Mahdi will establish it. Isa will also establish it. And (they will) demolish democracy. But that needs the sacrifice of a lot of people. And who gets bigger share (in the afterlife) than the people who give that sacrifice? Do you not wish that I become one of them? How many a people had given their lives to establish this shariah on this earth? But the sacrifice, the sweat and blood of those heroes is of lesser value to us than a handful of sand. Otherwise why would we vote the democracy the kuffar brought to us after demolishing the shariah they established? Whoever says the word “shariah” is considered an extremist today. This is the result of the propaganda the west spread. The thinking of the general masses have adapted to what the west wanted. The true Islam is something new today. Just as rasulullahi sallallahu alayhi wasallam informed us
“Islam came as a stranger. And it will return to how it came(to that strangeness). And tooba(glad tidings or a tree in paradise) is for the stangers. “

Oh my loving mother, so don’t care about the mock of the mockers. Turn a deaf ear to the people who try to twist the truth, and work to light the hereafter. Repent and supplicate often and work to gain the pleasure of Allah. As the righteous women of this ummah hoped, hope that your husband and children are sacrificed in the path of Allah! Surely success is by working for that.

Your highly loving
Aiman
